Data Engineer II

Indeed is seeking a Data Engineer II to design and implement reliable ETL pipelines and data model changes for the Indeed/Glassdoor data warehouse, with documentation, training, and on-call support included.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable, efficient data pipelines (ETLs) to integrate data from diverse sources into Indeed's data warehouse
• Design and implement data model changes that align with warehouse standards
• Provide documentation, training, and consulting for data warehouse users
• Offer on-call support for data infrastructure issues as part of the role

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience
• Extensive experience working with relational, NoSQL, and SQL databases
• Expertise in workflow orchestration and pipeline tools, including Airflow
• Experience with biodata and streaming technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, Hive, Kafka, Spark, Flink, or similar technologies
• Strong passion for data and continual learning of new technologies
• Proven experience in software engineering fundamentals and coding

Compensation

Salary: USD 99,000 - 208,000 per year
