Job Description
Senior Data Engineer - Level 3 at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX, responsible for turning data into mission-critical insights and delivering data products and models to support spares, repairs, and long-term sustainment decisions for the IFG Sustainment Program.
Responsibilities
- Scope and compile data from various internal and external sources to support spares modeling and performance metrics.
- Analyze data and apply logic to develop supply chain models that drive informed, strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the F-22 Sustainment Program Office (SPO) and key stakeholders to align data initiatives with fleet performance goals.
- Deliver both repeatable and ad-hoc reports to senior leadership, offering insights that drive tangible results.
- Champion performance-based supply analysis and visualization efforts to optimize operations and reduce costs.
- Partner across engineering, logistics, and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
Requirements
- Experience with Databricks, SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server (Relational database principles, SQL, SQLScript, PL/SQL, Transact-SQL in support of Procedures, Functions, and Views). Experience with ETL and/or data warehousing principles.
- Experience with Tableau, IBM Cognos, or other data visualization tools
- Experience with data mining and cleansing, recognizing and correcting errors/discrepancies and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data
- Experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting/resolving complex technical issues.

- Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
- Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
- Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
