DataAnnotation is seeking a Data Scientist - AI Trainer to craft and solve coding challenges that train AI systems, while providing insightful feedback on AI-generated code. This fully remote, flexible contract role offers an hourly rate of USD 50 to 100 and the freedom to select projects and schedules that fit your workflow. The position is based in Peoria, Illinois, with remote work options available.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve a range of coding problems used to train AI systems.
• Write clear, high-quality code snippets accompanied by detailed explanations.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
• Provide feedback that directly informs the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
