Databricks Data Engineer

Infosys is hiring a Databricks Data Engineer for an onsite role in Hartford, CT, focused on requirements elicitation, design discussions, coding and integration, testing, documentation, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned portions of business requirements according to guidance during the elicitation process.
• Lead software design discussions and capture design decisions to guide the technical team in building solutions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, prioritizing system stability.
• Perform code reviews, implement changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to enable a smooth transition to new software.
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and propose preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base for similar projects.
