Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Gen AI data engineering solutions covering data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and integrate large language models into production-grade applications.
- Develop APIs and microservices to enable data access and integration across Gen AI platform components.
- Implement code quality, testing, and documentation best practices to ensure reliability, maintainability, and scalability of systems.
- Stay current with trends in data engineering and Gen AI, applying new approaches to enhance the platform.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum four years of experience; six years of programming/development experience preferred.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on data engineering and Gen AI applications.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries like React.js and back-end frameworks/libraries.
- Familiarity with AWS and related services (AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Strong understanding of database systems and data processing frameworks (SQL, NoSQL, Spark, Databricks).
- Solid knowledge of Gen AI concepts such as Agentic Frameworks, RAG, LLM, Chunking, and Hyper-parameters.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
