Information Technology Data Analyst II - Health Outcomes
Job Description
The Information Technology Data Analyst II - Health Outcomes supports the full development lifecycle of data analysis to enable health outcomes analytics, reporting, and measurement initiatives. The role leverages SQL, Python, and business intelligence tools to deliver timely, accurate insights and communicates findings to diverse stakeholder groups.
Responsibilities

- Participate as a team member on assigned teams, providing requested drilldowns, follow-ups, and recommendations, and presenting results in report format.
- Provide technical and analytical support across projects, operational planning, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure clear documentation of project specifications and quality assurance processes, and meet project deadlines with guidance from a leader or lead analyst.
- Collaborate effectively within the team and build relationships with external stakeholders.
- Develop custom and standard reports for stakeholders, analyze data, and perform drilldowns as indicated.
- Participate in planning, implementation, and monitoring of data collection; advise on more efficient approaches and methods for work processes and problem solving; support data requests, retrieval, analysis, and outcome measurement to drive process improvements.
- Consistently meet daily, monthly, and annual deadlines by coordinating with multiple individuals in a tactful and precise manner.
- Present data in a manner that is useful and understandable for stakeholder use.
- Conduct analysis on medium to large datasets using SQL, Python, or R, in combination with BI tools.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees.
- Serve as a team member on assigned projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in intermediate to advanced SQL, Python, or R programming on platforms with large data assets.
- Minimum of 3 years in data analysis or in design and implementation roles.
