Lead Data Scientist GenAI, Financial Planning & Analysis - Strategic Analytics
Job Description
This onsite role in Miami, FL centers on leading AI and analytics initiatives within Deloitte's Finance FP&A function, with a salary range of USD 102,500 to 188,900 per year. The Lead Data Scientist GenAI for Strategic Analytics will design and deploy AI and ML solutions, develop data pipelines, and drive generative AI programs, drawing on at least four years of experience and Python proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics solutions to meet stakeholder needs.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, APIs, and model deployment workflows within cloud environments.
- Collaborate with finance, strategy, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights.
- Contribute to generative AI use cases, prototypes, and production-ready products aligned with strategic priorities.
- Monitor performance, maintain comprehensive technical documentation, and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data science, machine learning engineering, data engineering, or software engineering.
- 3+ years of experience developing solutions using Python.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- 2+ years of experience using SQL and working with relational or distributed data platforms.
- Ability to travel 0-10 percent on average, based on client engagements.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
