Job Description
Machine Learning Engineer role focused on training, testing, deploying, and maintaining data-driven models for Booz Allen’s defense technology team.
Responsibilities
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data
- Implement AI to enable faster mission success
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver solutions across a wide variety of AI use cases
- Guide clients on ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks
- Define the direction of mission-critical solutions
Requirements
- Experience with AI, data science, or ML engineering, including developing and deploying models
- Experience developing code using a common programming language: Python, C++, Rust, or Java
- Experience with data handling and model development
- Knowledge of Python coding and libraries, including scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Knowledge of deep learning, computer vision, or generative AI
- Ability to leverage AI productivity tools for coding, such as Cursor
- Ability to solve client issues and problems
- Secret clearance

Work Model
- Onsite: work primarily performed full-time at a customer facility, with collaboration with colleagues and customers as required

Compensation
- Projected compensation range: $77,600 to $176,000 per year (annualized USD)
