Responsibilities

• Help advance the search core algorithm by exploring directions such as content understanding and matching with cutting-edge NLP and CV techniques to surface the most relevant videos for each query and continually boost search relevance.
• Model user behavior in search to enhance personalization, aiming to deliver more relevant results while improving understanding of user intent.
• Leverage NLP, CV, and related technologies to deepen video understanding from both content and social-network perspectives, increasing the authority, credibility, and usefulness of search results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, completed or nearing completion.
• Proficient coding skills with a solid foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: NLP, ranking, ads, search engines, recommender systems, distributed systems, and machine learning.

Job Information

• The base salary range for this position in Seattle is $124,717 - $243,200 annually.
• Compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and location. Base pay is part of the total package and may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
