Job Description
Amazon Advertising is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer II for Sponsored Products Search Sourcing. This onsite role in New York, NY involves building and optimizing large-scale ML services for ad serving on Amazon search, mentoring junior engineers, and engaging with NLP/LLM, deep learning, and image processing. The position offers a salary range of USD 158,100 to 213,800 per year.
Responsibilities
- Shape the direction of technical solutions across diverse technologies, including deep learning, AWS, AutoML, and real-time ML serving systems.
- Design, develop, and deploy production software to support scalable offline machine learning pipelines and online serving components.
- Collaborate with applied scientists to optimize model performance, enhance the team’s ML productivity, and strengthen the technical foundation enabling scientific innovation, with ownership of your creations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
