Job Description

This role centers on applying NLP and ML methods to construct product knowledge graphs that power TikTok's e-commerce feed ranking, recommendations, and ads.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and scale large knowledge graphs of real world products to support feed ranking, recommendations, and advertising systems.
  • Partner with product managers, data scientists, and the product strategy and operations teams to shape features and roadmaps.
  • Engage in knowledge graph construction, including product, content, and user feedback understanding, plus category, brand, and SPU structuring.
  • Build knowledge graphs that map both buyers and products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in machine learning, natural language processing, or computer vision.
  • Experience software developing in at least one of: C++, Python, Go, Java.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills; practical experience applying ML/NLP to business scenarios is preferred.

Compensation and Location

Location: Seattle, WA onsite

Salary: USD 148,200 - 300,960 per year

Notes: Compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is part of the Total Package, which may include discretionary bonuses or incentives and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary by employment type and country.
