Managed Services - Data Engineer - Experienced Associate

PwC’s Managed Services team in Miami, onsite, is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to shape data-driven solutions for client engagements within the Data & Analytics practice. This role centers on building robust data pipelines, applying analytics to enable strategic decisions, and delivering insights that bolster competitive advantage. The position offers a salary range of $63,000 to $140,000 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree with at least one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy data-driven solutions to optimize business performance and strengthen competitive position through data engineering and ETL.
• Apply advanced analytics techniques to provide strategic insights and support informed decision-making for clients, including SQL optimization.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to enable efficient data collection and analysis, using DataStage.
• Create comprehensive reports and dashboards with business intelligence tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence and QlikView, drawing from DB2 and SQL Server data sources.
• Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze data from diverse sources to identify patterns and trends using star schemas and dimensional models.
• Utilize data architecture development skills to design and maintain robust database systems, including snowflake models.
• Engage in continuous process improvement to enhance data quality and integrity.
• Support client engagements by listening to diverse perspectives and addressing needs within regulated environments.
• Participate in developing business cases and market development strategies through data analysis and interpretation.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and take ownership of tasks to consistently deliver high-quality work, including job scheduling and UNIX tasks.
