Job Description

This Senior Data Engineer - Senior Manager position within PwC's Technology Consulting practice is based onsite in Phoenix, AZ. The role leads data analytics initiatives, develops innovative data solutions, and guides teams to deliver data driven client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative solutions to improve business performance and strengthen competitive positioning, including roadmap development and solution optimization.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to support client operations and strategic goals, leveraging AWS data engineering capabilities and Amazon Redshift.
  • Create and maintain data pipelines and architectures to enable business intelligence efforts using DataStage and ETL processes.
  • Deploy data visualization tools to provide actionable insights and improve client outcomes, utilizing SQL Server and DB2 in the stack.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data challenges and opportunities, aligning with managed services expectations and service level agreements.
  • Coach and motivate teams to solve complex problems and deliver high quality results.
  • Apply systems thinking to uncover underlying problems and opportunities within client projects, including workload orchestration and scheduling.
  • Validate outcomes with clients and incorporate feedback to refine solutions, focusing on CSAT and performance tuning.
  • Lead teams through ambiguous and challenging situations with composure and sound judgment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience.
