NS2 Data Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and document analytics and statistical models to produce metrics, reports, dashboards, and AI use cases, leveraging SAP BDC, SAP HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Collaborate with business units and application teams to shape data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Define a to-be data architecture aligned to business objectives and oversee the evolution of current architecture while optimizing analytics performance with best practices.
• Advise on master data architecture, data governance approaches, and data quality improvement initiatives within the NS2 framework.
• Promote reuse of existing data artifacts and maintain a single source of truth through disciplined data architecture and governance.
• Lead organizational change management and agile transformation to establish and mature analytics capabilities.
• Resolve complex issues proactively, working independently or with teammates to meet project needs and clearly communicate risks to reduce delivery challenges.
• Design, implement, and document future-state data architecture and modeling solutions, including relational, dimensional, and NoSQL approaches to support enterprise information management, BI, AI/ML, data science, and related business interests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree plus 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with relational and dimensional data models and analytics, including RDBMS, ETL processes, and data ingestion.
• Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise big data platforms across multi-data-center environments.
• Proven track record building or maintaining analytics related to financial management, sales, cloud operations, customer success, or technology operations.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, modeling tools, and related business applications (for example SAP BTP, SAP BDC, SAP HANA, DF4A, SAC, C4S, ECC, S/4HANA, ServiceNow).
• Experience with large language models, SAP Joule, and AI agents is a plus but not required.
• Solid grounding in master data management, metadata management, data modeling, and associated tooling.
• Awareness of data security requirements for federal contractors (for instance NIST SPs).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow data management features is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with geographically dispersed teams in a hybrid setup.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; U.S. citizenship is required.

Location: Herndon, VA, hybrid work arrangement. Based on the summary, the role may also be based in Newtown Square, PA.

Compensation

Salary: USD 90,000 - 198,500 per year.
