Job Description

The Operations Data Visualization and Analytics Engineer IV role at CareSource is based in Dayton, Ohio, with remote work options. The position focuses on building scalable database and ETL solutions, developing Power BI dashboards, and translating data into actionable insights to support leadership decisions and cross functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design department wide, scalable database architectures to support reporting functionality.
  • Develop ETL workflows for automated data refreshes and routine report delivery.
  • Build and deploy Power BI dashboards that provide leadership with actionable insights driving key business decisions.
  • Transform data sets and analyses into accessible and practical information for department leaders.
  • Create sophisticated analytic tools leveraging the data pipeline to generate actionable insights, performance metrics, historical trends, and benchmarks.
  • Identify and implement internal process improvements, automate manual tasks, and optimize data delivery.
  • Perform complex data analyses to address critical business questions.
  • Present data analyses in a concise, executive level format that is engaging and impactful.
  • Develop cohesive strategic plans for delivering complex solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze data, document business requirements, specify technology needs, review specifications, and test relevant systems.
  • Develop, document, and perform testing and validation as required.
  • Examine data relations and explain complex data relationships to answer business questions.
  • Mentor and guide junior department members on key projects.
  • Create, implement, and enforce coding standards for the team.
  • Lead and participate in large scale data transformation and visualization projects requiring cross functional collaboration.
  • Address multi dimensional problems and produce reports, dashboards and presentations.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field, or foreign degree equivalent.

Experience Requirements

  • Seven years of progressively responsible experience working with ETL, BI, and database solutions to translate business requirements.
  • At least three of these years must be in the health plan or healthcare industry.

Travel

Candidate may work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Compensation Range

$94,100.00 - $164,800.00 per year
