In this role you will bridge healthcare operations, large-scale data analytics, and applied AI to translate extensive healthcare data into actionable insights while upholding responsible AI practices aligned with clinical, regulatory, and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Examine large healthcare data spanning clinical, claims, operational, financial, and population health domains to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design dashboards, reports, and data models that advance clinical quality, patient outcomes, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, normalization, and governance across systems.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to translate business questions into analytic approaches.
  • Serve as the primary bridge between business and clinical stakeholders and AI/ML teams or vendors.
  • Assess, pilot, and support deployment of AI tools including predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, automation, and large language models.
  • Translate healthcare workflows and requirements into AI ready use cases.
  • Validate AI outputs for clinical relevance, bias, explainability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support responsible AI practices through documentation, monitoring, and human in the loop controls.
  • Identify target patient and provider populations and moments of influence.
  • Define outcomes and success metrics and set targets with clinical program leaders.
  • Continuously monitor clinical programs and pilots, refining targets as needed.
  • Conduct retrospective program evaluations using advanced econometric techniques.
  • Create reports and data visualizations to share insights with stakeholders.
  • Document methodologies for opportunity analysis and impact evaluation to enable rapid scaling across services, care paths, diagnosis groups, and lines of business such as Medicare Advantage, commercial, and Medicaid.
  • Support the use of data from EHR, claims, device data, and third party sources.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience in healthcare data analysis, analytics, or health tech roles.
  • At least five years of SQL programming experience.
  • Three or more years of SAS programming experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise working with large scale claims and healthcare datasets.
  • Solid understanding of health plan economics and performance levers.

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, AI governance, and data privacy.
  • Ability to balance innovation with clinical risk and regulatory constraints.
  • Ability to collaborate across clinical, technical, and business teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
