Job Description
This Principal Data Analyst and Developer Engineer role at JANSON delivers analytics capability, instructional design, and technical mentorship to advance Army Vantage initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of prototype predictive analytics and dashboards
- Serve as the primary instructor for ORSA level and advanced analytics training
- Define and promote reusable analytics patterns and standards
- Coach mid-level and junior personnel toward higher competency
- Ensure analytics products are instructional, reusable, and sustainment-ready
- Design and manage Army Vantage specific curricula aligned to USAREUR-AF personas (executives, staff, analysts, ORSAs)
- Lead advanced training events, including ORSA sessions and executive-level courses
- Ensure training materials emphasize Army Vantage workflows, permissions, classification, and reuse over generic analytics tools
- Review and approve training content produced by junior and mid-level staff for technical accuracy and instructional quality
- Drive development of instructional analytics assets with dashboards, workflows, and predictive analytics suitable as teaching exemplars
- Incorporate data lineage, version control, and collaborative development practices into training demonstrations
- Coach mid-level personnel on instructional techniques, classroom delivery, and Army training event facilitation
- Act as the primary technical advisor supporting data program design and execution
- Ensure training events align with organizational change objectives and adoption milestones in the SOW
- Lead after-action reviews for training events and apply feedback to future deliveries
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain
- Ability to operate in classified and unclassified environments, including NIPRNet systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for military and civilian stakeholders
- Willingness to travel up to 10 percent for in-person training and operational support
- Proven ability to rapidly learn new tools, workflows, and operational contexts
- Team-oriented and capable of collaborating with diverse Army and contractor personnel
