Principal Product Manager, Analytics

Elsevier is seeking a Principal Product Manager, Analytics to lead the transformation of AI-enabled analytics delivery for both internal and external customers. This role drives product discovery, strategy, and execution for analytics across the Healthcare Education portfolio, with an emphasis on measurable outcomes and responsible AI.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and roadmap for AI-enabled analytics across nursing and medical education products.
• Identify opportunities for AI to simplify analytics, surface insights, strengthen decision support, and support more personalized experiences.
• Own end-to-end product development, including discovery and prioritization through delivery, launch, and iteration.
• Translate customer and business needs into product strategies, requirements, and resulting experiences.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, subject matter experts, and customer-facing teams to build scalable solutions.
• Drive cross-functional alignment by communicating product strategy, priorities, decisions, and tradeoffs.
• Define measures of success across adoption, usability, customer impact, and business outcomes.
• Use customer feedback, product data, and analytics to guide prioritization and support continuous product improvement.
• Champion practical and responsible AI, with attention to quality, privacy, transparency, and trust.
• Maintain a prioritized, outcome-driven backlog and support agile planning and delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management and/or technology, data, analytics, or a related field.
• Proven product leadership with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
• Experience delivering AI-, analytics-, data-, or insight-driven products.
• Practical understanding of AI, analytics, experimentation, and data products.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear product strategies and meaningful customer value.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
• Strong product and project management skills, including managing multiple priorities in an agile environment.
• Experience in healthcare, education, healthcare education, or enterprise software is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary (Base Pay Range): USD 118,300 - 239,235 per year.

• U.S. National Base Pay Range: $118,300 - $219,800 (geographic differentials may apply in some locations).
• Illinois: $124,200 - $230,800.
• Maryland: $124,200 - $230,800.
• New York: $130,200 - $241,800.
• New York City: $142,000 - $263,800.
• Rochester, NY: $118,300 - $219,800.
• New Jersey: $149,765 - $239,235.
