Python AWS AI Engineer

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant to support the full software delivery lifecycle, including requirements contribution, application design, implementation, validation, and ongoing maintenance. The role includes hands-on engineering activities such as coding, testing, code review, and production support, along with documentation and user enablement to support successful transitions to new software.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned portions of business requirements according to provided guidance.
• Participate in application design discussions and document design decisions to help the technical team implement software solutions.
• Code and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while prioritizing system stability.
• Perform code reviews, apply changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to maintain software quality standards.
• Create user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to support smooth adoption of new software applications.
• Engage in resolving production issues and propose preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to strengthen the knowledge base and support similar projects.

Location and Work Mode

This role is based in Plano, TX and is onsite.

What You Will Do in Practice

You will support requirements documentation, contribute to design decision records, and deliver code changes that integrate new functionality into existing applications. Your work will include reviewing code, updating repositories, executing and analyzing tests, and coordinating bug fixes. You will also participate in production issue resolution and recommend preventive steps to strengthen reliability. To support adoption, you will develop training materials and documentation, and you will record engineering, testing, and support activity details to build reusable knowledge for related initiatives.
