Job Description

Join Johns Hopkins University and support research in the Department of Urology through data analysis, reporting, and the development of a research data pipeline. This full-time, M-F position (8am-5pm) is based on the School of Medicine Campus in Baltimore, MD, and offers a salary range of $48,000 - $84,100 per year (with a $66,000 targeted rate, commensurate with experience). The role is classified as RESEARCH DATA ANALYST (ACRP/04/MC) and is Exempt.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data and generate reports and models.
  • Run models, analyze model results, and prepare reports on the analysis.
  • Conduct analyses to support the assigned research project or study.
  • Perform statistical analyses using standard statistical software packages.
  • Design and prepare tables that illustrate analytic findings.
  • Manage or contribute to data entry in the assigned database.
  • May engage in other research-related responsibilities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
  • Three years of related experience.
  • Education and experience may be substituted beyond high school graduation equivalency, as permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Equivalency and Application Notes

Under the JHU Equivalency Formula, 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For roles where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied toward the minimum education/experience requirement.

Applicants completing their final academic semester/quarter who do not meet the posted requirements may be considered eligible for employment and may be asked to provide additional information confirming their completion date.

Depending on campus, a pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact may require documentation of immune status against Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella, and Hepatitis B, and documentation of receiving Tdap. This may include documentation of two MMR vaccines, two Varicella vaccines, or antibody status through laboratory testing. Vaccinations required for these diseases are provided at no cost in the Occupational Health office.
