Job Description

Guidepoint’s Qsight team seeks a Senior Data Analyst to own analytics from data ingestion through structured analysis and clear client-ready conclusions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute ad hoc and syndicated research projects using proprietary and alternative data sources
  • Handle large, complex datasets from diverse origins; clean and structure data into analysis-ready formats
  • Run analyses to address market research questions using suitable methodologies and analytical frameworks
  • Build and maintain scalable analytical workflows with SQL, Python, and Snowflake, including integration of AI tools to improve speed and efficiency
  • Create effective visualizations and outputs that clearly communicate findings and hold up to client scrutiny
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to scope work, refine problem statements, explain methods, and deliver results
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining analytical rigor
  • Evaluate and improve data models, data quality, and analytical standards to support reliable, scalable analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related)
  • 4–7 years of professional experience in data analytics, market research, or applied data science, ideally in a client-facing or consulting setting
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong experience with SQL, Tableau (or similar BI tools), and Python; Snowflake familiarity preferred
  • Experience with AI-assisted analytics workflows (e.g., AI tools for data exploration, query generation, or workflow acceleration)
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization, statistical analysis, and hypothesis-driven research design
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with multiple deliverables
  • Proactive, curious mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to be onsite in the New York office as needed for collaboration and client meetings

Compensation

  • Base salary range: USD 120,000–150,000 per year
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance
