Senior Data Analyst - Risk & Credit
Job Description
Join a team focused on strengthening credit performance and managing risk through high-impact analytics. This Senior Data Analyst - Risk & Credit role is remote and supports decision-making with large-scale data extraction, predictive modeling, reporting, and ongoing monitoring of risk initiatives. Compensation is USD 120,000 - 140,000 per year, with a strong benefits package including bonus and comprehensive insurance options for eligible contract or temporary professionals.
Responsibilities
- Extract, cleanse, and analyze large datasets using SQL
- Build and modify complex custom predictive models
- Conduct ad hoc analyses related to credit risk, fraud, and portfolio performance
- Create reports, dashboards, and performance monitoring tools
- Identify trends, opportunities, and emerging risks
- Support predictive model monitoring and risk initiatives
- Present analytical findings to business stakeholders
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or risk analytics
- Experience with predictive analytics or statistical modeling
- Advanced SQL skills
- Prior FinTech, payments, lending, banking, or credit risk experience required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with Snowflake, Python, SAS, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or similar tools preferred
