Senior, Data Analyst - Supply Strategy - Last Mile Delivery

Walmart's Last Mile Delivery Supply Strategy team is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to turn complex data into strategic insights. This on-site role in Bentonville, Arkansas focuses on data management, governance, and analytics to identify, assess, and interpret business data, delivering data-driven solutions through visualization and exploratory analysis in collaboration with stakeholders. It blends technical rigor with a practical focus on optimizing delivery operations at scale.

Responsibilities

• Assess data sources to ensure alignment with business needs and quality criteria, enabling reliable analysis.
• Conduct initial data quality checks and oversee ongoing data cleansing to maintain reliability.
• Translate complex business challenges into data‑driven solutions using appropriate analytics methods and tools.
• Create and present insightful visualizations tailored to stakeholder needs, collaborating with UX/UI teams when required.
• Offer actionable recommendations grounded in exploratory data analysis and statistical techniques.
• Support data governance by promoting adherence to data quality frameworks, policies, and accessibility standards.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to ongoing improvements in data management practices.

Requirements

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics, analytics, mathematics, arts, finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
• Option 2: Master's degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics, analytics, mathematics, computer science, information technology or related field.
• Option 3: 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
