The Senior Data Scientist, Product & Operation Analytics role at TikTok USDS JV focuses on turning campaign and operational data into actionable insights that support growth for the TikTok main app.

Role Summary

In this position, you will support business growth through campaign and operations analytics, metric design and evaluation, and advanced analytical solutions and models. The work also includes exploratory analysis and research to uncover data limitations and recommend improvements to measurement and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead campaign and operations analytics to produce data-driven recommendations supporting day-to-day operations and growth.
• Explore and assess data sources, identify limitations, and translate complex findings through exploratory analysis and research to inform improvements.
• Design and monitor core metrics, support goal setting, and evaluate performance while identifying root causes of metric changes.
• Design and build advanced analytical solutions and models, including leveraging AI technologies, to deliver improved business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or other science and engineering fields.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience working with large data sets using SQL.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to learn autonomously, and highly organized.
• Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The Core Business Data Science team within TikTok USDS is responsible for building high-quality and timely data analytics solutions for the TikTok main app, supporting business growth.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range (Los Angeles, CA, onsite): USD 136,800 - 312,867 per year.

• Compensation may vary outside the posted range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
