Senior Data Scientist (TS/SCI Clearance)

EpochGeo helps deliver data-rich capabilities for national security projects, turning complex information into practical analytics and ML/AI tools. As a Senior Data Scientist on-site in Quantico, VA 22134, you will work across data analytics, data engineering, and predictive AI development, with support for flexible scheduling and benefits designed to cover everyday needs.

Compensation: $125,000 - $175,000 per year (full-time).

What you’ll do

• Perform data analytics, data engineering, and data mining to extract insights that inform decisions.
• Build machine learning tools, including recommendation engines and lead scoring systems.
• Apply statistical analysis and data mining techniques to create high-quality prediction systems.
• Create data visualizations and narrative products using Tableau and other graphical applications.
• Manage, merge, and analyze large, disparate data sets using R, Python, or SQL.
• Develop AI tools to automate key processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.

Security and eligibility

• Must hold a TS/SCI clearance and hold or be willing to submit for a CI Poly.
• Top Secret clearance is required.
• On-site work at Quantico, VA 22134; relocation before starting work is required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience and a Master’s Degree (or equivalent experience).
• Education and experience aligned to Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and R.
• Proficiency with Power BI and Tableau for data visualization.
• Strong background in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics.
• Proven ability to manage large data sets and perform Multi-INT analytics.
• Experience developing AI tools for automation.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly and concisely.
