Salary range: USD 202,160 - 368,220 per year
Responsibilities
- Identify algorithms to address risk, violations, and low-quality issues in e-commerce contexts such as products, shopping-cart short videos, and product-led live streams.
- Develop methods to detect fraudulent behavior and to flag risky, violative, or low-quality merchants and creators.
- Improve algorithms for large-scale brand libraries, product catalogs, and content deduplication and clustering.
- Handle data construction, instruction fine-tuning, chain-of-thought aids, alignment, and related work for large models in the e-commerce domain to optimize overall effects.
- Explore reinforcement learning and operations research methods for intelligent dispatching and audit scheduling to boost audit quality and efficiency.
- Research and build multi-agent tools, models, engines, and platforms to enhance automatic planning, generalized decision-making, and multimodal interaction in e-commerce scenarios; deliver agent-based solutions and feed real-world insights into model iteration.
- Drive performance and stability of agent systems, focusing on resource use, interaction latency, and cost efficiency; translate business needs into a scalable platform roadmap and reliable infrastructure.
- Optimize foundational algorithms across NLP, vision, multimodal, search, graph, LLM, and Agent systems to support governance in e-commerce.
- Streamline computer vision model iterations in e-commerce, including fine-grained product image classification, object recognition, logo detection, brand recognition, and feature extraction.
- Advance video classification, multimodal content mining and understanding for e-commerce short videos and live broadcasts to improve the shopping experience.
- Enhance risk identification models for text content in e-commerce contexts, including product copy, image text, and voice descriptions.
- Improve risk mining for comments, reports, and other public opinion content related to products, short videos, and live broadcasts to strengthen governance outcomes.
- Research large-scale multimodal algorithms (vision, speech, natural language) and implement them in e-commerce scenarios.
- Extract extensive data from live broadcasts, products, merchants, and influencers; model large-scale networks to support content understanding, multimodal representation, and community mining.
- Contribute to building a large-scale graph storage and graph learning platform supporting billions of nodes and edges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field
- Strong coding skills in a Linux environment; proficient in Python, Go, or C++
- Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms; strong machine learning/deep learning theory with practical experience
- Familiar with 1 or 2 areas among natural language processing, computer vision, multimodal, graph algorithms, search, data mining, and LLM
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities; enthusiastic about challenging problems; good teamwork and communication
- Experience in platform governance, audit, risk control, content security, or overseas internet/e-commerce is preferred

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $202,160 - $368,220 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Benefits listed may vary by employment type and location. Employees receive day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, plus 10 holidays, 10 sick days, and 17 days of paid personal time (pro-rated at start and accruals increase with tenure).
