Job Description
Senior Principal Data Scientist - AI Lead for the Government sector, onsite in Vienna, VA, delivering end-to-end AI solutions and partnering with U.S. government agencies on trusted entity data, validation, and risk insights.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for Public Sector and government stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions across programs.
- Collaborate with U.S. government agencies on initiatives that rely on trusted entity data, validation, and risk insight.
Requirements
- Data expertise: Strong skills in data analysis, manipulation, and processing for training and evaluating AI models.
- Digital transformation leadership: Proven experience leading large-scale digital transformations in IT operations on a global scale.
- Experience: 10+ years of professional data science / ML/AI development experience, with a preference for government or public sector clients.
- AI/ML knowledge: Deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and hands-on experience with AI automation.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor teams, foster innovation, and manage the full software development lifecycle.
- Programming: Strong skills in Python, Java, or Go for developing and deploying AI solutions.
- Cloud platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and scaling AI applications.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to identify opportunities, define technical roadmaps, and align AI with business objectives.
- Communication: Excellent ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and enable cross-functional collaboration.
- Problem solving: Strong analytical skills to identify challenges, devise innovative solutions, and optimize system performance.
- Adaptability: Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the evolving AI landscape.
- Ethics and bias: Understanding and mitigating ethical implications of AI to ensure fairness and accountability.
- IT and solution architecture: Significant experience in IT and solution architecture roles, with a focus on automation, infrastructure, or cloud.
- AI/ML delivery: Proven track record designing and implementing AI/ML solutions in IT operations, infrastructure management, or business process automation.
