Snowflake Data Engineer

HCLTech is hiring a Developer specializing in Snowflake and SQL to design and maintain data solutions in the Snowflake cloud data platform, with a focus on reliable pipelines, data quality, and support for analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data solutions using Snowflake and SQL technologies.
• Optimize and tune Snowflake data pipelines to improve performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to enable and support data analytics projects.
• Ensure data quality and apply data governance best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and data warehousing.
• Keep current with the latest trends and advancements in Snowflake and SQL technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Snowflake cloud data platform and SQL databases.
• Hands-on familiarity designing and developing data pipelines using Snowflake.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.
• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and data analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Certification

• SnowPro Core Certification is preferred.

Location and Compensation

This role is based in San Antonio, TX and is onsite. Salary range is USD 62,000 - 83,000 per year.
