Software and AI Engineer

CoreWeave is building AI agents, copilots, and first-party applications that streamline internal operations across teams like Finance, Billing, and Supply Chain. As an Software and AI Engineer, IT Systems, you will connect modern GenAI capabilities with enterprise workflows, and deliver reliable services and APIs that other teams can use day to day.

This role is based in New York, NY and is an onsite position. The salary range is USD 153,000 - 204,000 per year, and the role calls for 3+ years of relevant experience.

What you’ll do

• Develop AI agents and copilots for internal teams across Finance, Billing, Supply Chain, and more, leveraging frameworks and APIs including LangChain, LangGraph, Cohere, OpenAI, Gemini, and Glean.
• Design and build first-party web and mobile applications using React, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Build scalable backend services in Node.js and Go to support data processing, orchestration, and automation.
• Integrate enterprise systems, including ERP, HRIS, MRP, PDM, DCIM, and data warehouses, using native integrations or iPaaS platforms such as Workato or Boomi.
• Create APIs and microservices that enable modular, event-driven application architectures.
• Use GenAI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT Codex to accelerate implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Embed observability, maintainability, and security across the application stack.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Security, Engineering, and other business teams to shape user-centered workflows.

What you bring

• 3+ years of programming experience in C++, Go, C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python, building production-grade cloud services.
• 3+ years of scripting experience in Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
• Solid experience designing RESTful APIs and event-driven integration architectures.
• Experience building and deploying production-grade applications and microservices.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), container orchestration, and DevOps plus CI/CD practices.
• Experience with modern backend and frontend technologies; familiarity with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Go, FastAPI, Next.js, Kestrel, or gRPC is relevant.
• Familiarity with generative AI frameworks and APIs such as LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, or Glean and how they apply to products.
• Motivation to build user-facing tools that improve business productivity and employee experience.
