Job Description
CodeRabbit is hiring a Sr. Data Analyst to help ship executive analytics, governed data foundations, and self-serve reporting used by Finance and GTM.
Responsibilities
- Launch the foundational BI tool and deliver the first exec and team dashboards on it.
- Develop board- and executive-level reporting for Finance and GTM, including ARR waterfalls, pipeline, funnel, and deal risk.
- Lead deep-dive investigations into gaps between targets and actuals, pipeline health, margins, and billing issues.
- Build and maintain dbt models that power a governed data layer for trustworthy querying by people and agents.
- Find and close gaps across the data warehouse, ETL pipelines, and semantic layer to enforce shared metrics and canonical definitions.
- Maintain the context layer and an agentic harness that enables on-demand dashboards and insights, with tests and review before anything is released.
- Partner with Finance and GTM by translating business needs into scalable workflows and data products.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a data analyst or senior data analyst, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong SQL and hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
- Experience developing and maintaining dbt models and the semantic layer.
- Experience building dashboards and self-serve analytics in a modern BI tool such as Omni, Sigma, or Looker.
- Working knowledge of finance and GTM metrics: ARR, net and gross retention, bookings, pipeline coverage, CAC, gross margin, and tracing forecast misses to root causes.
- Hands-on experience using agentic tools such as Claude Code or Codex, with a build you can demonstrate.
- Comfort working with messy data and managing trade-offs when deriving insights.
- Ability to work with and communicate to senior leadership, plus technical and non-technical peers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Fivetran, and reverse ETL.
- Experience at an AI company or early-stage startup where definitions evolve and you build initial versions of core systems.
- Experience with Salesforce and billing systems like Chargebee.
- Python or TypeScript, Git, and code review, or dashboards-as-code tooling such as Evidence, Streamlit, or Observable.
- Experience building agent tooling, including MCP servers, an agent harness, or CI for analytics code.
- Experience with finance reporting (ERP or month-end close) and usage-based or PLG-to-sales-led pricing across PLG and SLG motions.
