Sr Salesforce Health Cloud Data Engineer

Cook Systems is seeking a Sr Salesforce Health Cloud Data Engineer to design and deliver ETL processes and data integrations across the software development lifecycle. This role ensures bidirectional data movement using Salesforce Data Loader and Azure tools while maintaining HIPAA and federal security policies. The position is based in Orlando, FL with remote work options.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects to design data models for Salesforce repositories that align with the solution architecture.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy within the Salesforce Health Cloud application.
• Ingest, validate, and process incoming data, applying business rules and integrating it within Salesforce.
• Develop and coordinate unit and integration test plans; perform testing and evaluate results.
• Analyze, design, and develop code for Salesforce data integration activities with third-party applications.
• Implement changes and provide user and system support post-implementation.
• Identify opportunities for beneficial change and deliver data-driven insights.
• Evaluate and resolve critical data issues, ensuring compliance with security policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent database development experience.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to receive a favorable DoD background investigation.
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role.
• 2+ years of experience with Azure.
• 3+ years of experience developing data integration source code in SQL or equivalent.
• Experience in ETL with both structured and semi-structured data.
• Experience gathering business requirements from cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and DevOps.
