Job Description
The Supplier Data Analyst ensures supplier information stays accurate, complete, and dependable within the Group Travel Odyssey (GTO) platform. Working remotely, this role supports Supplier Relations by reviewing, updating, validating, and auditing supplier records so the data meets established productivity and quality standards.
As the data steward for supplier content, you will keep pricing, contact details, policies, product information, and related business fields current while helping maintain a reliable supplier database for platform users.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, update, and maintain supplier information in the GTO platform so supplier records reflect current pricing, contact information, policies, product details, and other relevant business information.
- Validate supplier data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with company standards by checking for errors, missing information, duplicate entries, and inconsistencies while maintaining strong data integrity.
- Add new supplier products, update existing offerings, and verify supplier or internal stakeholder changes to keep products, services, pricing, and policies up to date.
- Complete supplier update requests assigned by the Director of Supplier Relations within required timelines, prioritizing assigned tasks and following established procedures and service expectations.
- Regularly audit supplier records to identify outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate information to support ongoing quality assurance.
- Meet established productivity goals and quality expectations for supplier updates, additions, validations, and audits while following company processes and standards.
- Collaborate with Supplier Relations, Development, Sales, and other departments as needed to ensure supplier data supports broader business operations.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and business software applications.
- Attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and consistently.
- Ability to meet productivity goals while maintaining data quality standards.
- Organization and time-management skills.
- Communication skills: effective written and verbal communication.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate degree in Business, Data Management, Information Systems, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with data entry, record maintenance, administrative support, or similar responsibilities preferred.
Location and Work Model
- Work location: Remote.
- Work is primarily performed from a home office using computer systems, communication platforms, and collaboration tools.
- Regular virtual collaboration with internal team members, vendors, and stakeholders through meetings and communications.
Classification, Reporting, and Timing
- Classification: Exempt.
- Reports to: Director of Supplier Relations.
- Effective date: August 2026.
- Position type: Full-time, exempt.
- Expected hours: Standard business hours generally Monday through Friday; occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support deployments, system maintenance, issue resolution, or critical business needs.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: USD 50,000 per year (from $50,000.00 per year).
- Benefits: Paid time off.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands and Travel
- Regularly required to communicate verbally and in writing, operate a computer and standard office equipment, and participate in virtual meetings.
- May occasionally be required to travel and transport work-related materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Limited travel may be required for company meetings, training, conferences, vendor meetings, or other business-related activities.
