Responsibilities
- Examine data using a mix of basic statistics and advanced methods to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Spot developing product quality issues early and contribute to predictive insights, forecasting, and early detection.
- Organize and model data to illuminate root causes and inform business decisions.
- Integrate diverse data streams including warranty records, vehicle data, customer feedback, and manufacturing data.
- Collaborate with product quality leaders to deliver insights and recommendations that boost product performance and reliability.
- Design and deploy analytics methodologies to enhance quality tracking and reporting.
- Work with cross functional teams across the data and product space, including analysts, engineers, architects, and scientists.
- Assist in the rollout and deployment of advanced analytics solutions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and tooling to enable ongoing improvement.
- Present findings through clear data storytelling to capture the customer perspective.
Requirements
- A bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; masterβs preferred.
- Experience in a technical or manufacturing focused quality environment.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, Azure Analytics, Jupyter Notebook, or Apache Spark.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques, including classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems using data driven approaches.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data structuring, and analytics methodologies.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
