Supply Chain Data Analyst

Patagonia is hiring a Supply Chain Data Analyst to support global supply planning decision-making with data, reporting, and continuous process improvement. This hybrid role (Ventura, CA) blends analytics work with close partnership across Supply Planning and other Supply Chain teams, helping ensure teams have clear, trustworthy insights when it matters most.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions for Supply Planning and other Supply Chain teams.
• Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting layers that support both operational and strategic decision-making.
• Work with business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable data solutions.
• Perform ad hoc analysis across inventory, supply planning, fulfillment, and product availability.
• Validate data quality and investigate discrepancies across reporting systems to improve reliability.
• Assist with data models and reporting assets in Snowflake.
• Find opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve business processes through analytics.
• Document business logic, KPI definitions, and data lineage to increase transparency and consistency.
• Support testing and validation of new reporting enhancements and data products.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives involving ERP processes, planning systems, and analytics tools.
• Partner closely with the Supply Planning team, providing data-driven recommendations tied to real business challenges.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences and support prioritization of analytics projects aligned to supply chain objectives.
• Serve as a trusted analytics partner by balancing business context with analytical rigor.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Operations, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, supply chain analytics, or a related role.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and translating insights into business recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Helpful experience

• Experience using Snowflake.
• Experience with dbt or modern data transformation tools.
• Experience supporting supply chain, inventory, planning, operations, or ERP processes.
• Familiarity with Python, Power Query, or additional analytics tools.
• Experience gathering business requirements and supporting cross-functional projects.

Compensation and schedule

Hiring range: $91,600 - $103,050 USD annual.

Workplace: Hybrid in Ventura, CA. Standard schedule is Tuesday–Thursday on-site, with remote work on other days. Occasional additional office visits may be required for team events or critical meetings.
