PCI Government Services LLC is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for a fully onsite role in Huntsville, AL supporting Federal, DoD, and private sector customers from Redstone Arsenal. This position reports to the Program Manager and focuses on turning complex data into clear analytical products for operational leaders.
In this role, you will contribute to advanced analytics across data mining, statistical analysis, trends, and causal analysis. You will also serve as a technical lead for monitoring and delivering monthly contract reports and deliverables, while integrating operations research methods into solutions that are understandable to operational managers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct highly complex data mining, statistical analysis, trend analysis, and causal analysis.
- Act as a technical lead responsible for monitoring and providing monthly contract reports and deliverables.
- Integrate multiple disciplines within an operations research team and translate applicable methods into operationally relevant language and application.
- Review deliverables and provide quality control methods on products.
- Prepare and update training materials so newly assigned personnel can learn key analytic tools, procedures, and methodologies.
- Take structured and unstructured data and distill it into cohesive analytical products for contracting functional business audiences.
- Support pattern analysis to formulate recommendations to operational managers based on patterns in past, current, and anticipated operational environments.
Requirements
- Must be located in the Huntsville, AL area and work onsite at Redstone Arsenal.
- Active Secret Security Clearance required.
- 8+ years of experience in a technical field.
- BA/BS required; BS preferred in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with Power BI; Palantir experience is a plus.
- Experience advising senior DoD decision makers on methodologies, results, and conclusions from applied operations research.
- Strong skills in data manipulation and problem-solving.
- Strong technical skills including statistics, R or Python, SQL, data visualization, data cleaning and preparation, and pipelining.
- Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.
