AI Engineer / Data Scientist
Job Description
Vibotek LLC seeks an experienced AI engineer and data scientist to lead the architecture, design, and development of a cloud-native, configuration-driven, event-based platform for healthcare payer workflows and Payment Integrity systems in St. Louis, MO onsite.
Responsibilities
- Drive full lifecycle engineering programs from concept to delivery
- Set architectural direction and contribute hands-on across modules
- Design and implement scalable metadata-driven and rule-engine platforms
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to align roadmaps
- Mentor engineers, enforce engineering best practices, and uphold quality standards
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python or Java
- Background with configuration-driven platforms and rule engines
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
- Experience with AWS services: EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB
- CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps experience
- Healthcare domain expertise with a focus on Payment Integrity
