Analytics Engineer - AI Trainer
Job Description
DataAnnotation is seeking an Analytics Engineer - AI Trainer to help improve AI models by evaluating AI-generated quantitative analyses for technical accuracy and real-world validity. In this remote role, you will design problems to train and benchmark AI systems and provide actionable feedback to guide the next generation of quantitative reasoning models. The position is based in Winter Park, Florida, with remote work supported under a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assess AI-produced quantitative work, including statistics, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data-driven insights, for technical soundness and real-world applicability.
- Design and solve quantitative tasks used to train and benchmark AI systems across forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Produce clear technical explanations and well-documented analytical code.
- Deliver feedback that directly shapes the next generation of AI models built for quantitative reasoning.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a quantitative role or research environment, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or related fields.
- Some coding experience with the ability to write and review analytical code end-to-end.
- Practical experience with statistical methods, predictive modeling, and experiment design (A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, time-series forecasting).
- Fluency in English with strong writing skills (native or bilingual level).
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is preferred; a master's or PhD is a plus.
- Relevant credentials are advantageous (for example, Kaggle competition ranking, AWS/GCP ML certifications, or equivalent demonstrated expertise).
