Business Data Analyst I

The DHL Supply Chain team seeks a detail oriented on site Business Data Analyst I located in Northlake, TX. This role focuses on translating warehouse operation data into actionable insights to improve performance and reduce costs, leveraging Power BI, SQL, and other analytics tools. You will collaborate with site leadership to deliver data driven recommendations and support decision making.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Power BI reports to inform operational and strategic choices
• Lead end to end Power BI development, including data visualization and back end data model design
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements
• Work with site and sector leadership to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reductions
• Support HR, Finance and other functional teams with tailored analytical solutions to meet evolving business needs
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through presentations and reports for internal and customer use
• Leverage data from multiple systems that support operations, such as the Warehouse Management System and timekeeping systems
• Own analytics projects from concept through delivery
• Serve as the primary contact for Power BI questions and support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent professional experience, required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, required
• Hands on experience using SQL or other scripting languages (Python or R) to query, clean, and transform data, required
• Proficiency in Power BI, including building dashboards and reports from scratch, required
• Experience writing DAX expressions to automate and enhance Power BI reports, required
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines, required
• Must be able to work onsite if the role is based in a warehouse, required

Job Description

As a Business Data Analyst I, you will play a key role in transforming operational data into strategic insights that identify opportunities, improve performance, and reduce costs. You will collaborate with site leadership and key stakeholders to build reports, implement standard tools, and support data driven decision making. This position is suited for individuals with foundational analytics experience who can take ownership of projects and grow into a trusted resource for data solutions. The compensation range for this role is USD 70,000 to 115,000 per year, depending on experience.
