Job Description
Overview
Under limited supervision in the MSO environment, this role develops, documents, tests, and implements management and end user reporting applications. It also conducts quality assurance for data integrity of MSO business intelligence applications, schedules automated reporting for end users, and provides database and application support for Decision Support end users.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reporting applications for management and end users
- Document reporting solutions and their workflows
- Test management and end user reports to ensure accuracy
- Implement reporting applications into production environments
- Perform quality assurance to safeguard data integrity within MSO BI systems
- Schedule and manage automated reports for end users
- Serve as a primary liaison with users, technical support, and operations personnel
- Provide database and application support for all Decision Support end users
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field; work experience may substitute for the degree
- Two years of data analysis experience using SQL queries and report-writing tools to fulfill end-user ad-hoc reporting requests
- Experience with medical billing data and analysis, and working knowledge of medical billing practice
