Data Analyst

Based onsite in Provo, Crumbl is seeking a Data Analyst to collaborate with Store Analytics, Menu, and Tech teams. The role focuses on translating both internal and external data into strategic insights that inform decisions and help drive the company’s OKRs. This position emphasizes turning complex datasets into clear, actionable analytics that support ongoing business improvement.

Responsibilities

• Aligns work with both immediate departmental priorities and longer‑range strategy.
• Applies the team’s standard data collection and reporting methodologies to deliver consistent results.
• Interprets findings with statistical techniques and communicates implications clearly.
• Maintains ongoing reports and supports existing dashboards for stakeholders.
• Detects and explains trends and patterns within intricate data sets.
• Defines problems precisely, selects appropriate analytical methods, and presents actionable recommendations to address key questions tied to strategies.
• Approaches issues with a strategic mindset, testing solutions to yield practical, positive outcomes.
• Creates visually compelling and audience‑appropriate reports and dashboards that meet department needs.
• Delves into the root causes of questions, ensuring tasks drive meaningful impact rather than simply being completed.
• Builds and sustains strong stakeholder relationships by communicating data insights clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Identifies opportunities to automate processes and improve workflows within the assigned department.
• Promotes a data‑driven culture and mindset across teams.
• Collaborates with the Data Analytics Manager and Data Integrity Project Manager to enhance data quality and applicability.
• Supports quarterly team initiatives and shares knowledge with peers to foster growth and capability development.
• Links department key results to company KPIs and contributes to continuous statistical and analytical skill development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a data‑related field is preferred (examples include Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics), but not mandatory.
• Recent experience in data analytics or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in SQL is required.
• Solid experience with Excel is required.
• Foundational knowledge of statistics.
• Experience with Tableau is desirable.
• Commitment to data integrity and accuracy.
• Proactive problem solver with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Snowflake knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• DBT knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Python or R experience is preferred but not required.
