Data Analyst
Job Description
Data Analyst role focused on optimizing profitability of inventory assets through statistical and financial analysis across multiple departments, reporting to the Lead Data Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Build and refine analytic models of sales and performance indicators to support strategic forecasting.
- Collaborate with colleagues across systems and departments to collect, validate, and scrutinize financial results.
- Scan historical data to detect lucrative opportunities and recalibrate models based on prior findings to reveal new revenue streams.
- Leverage data insights to identify high-potential live events and oversee the daily online purchasing of event tickets.
- Preserve organized, accurate electronic documentation for all models and daily operations to ensure traceability and compliance.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 1–2 years in professional data or analytics roles; 2–5 years strongly preferred.
- Technical stack: Advanced Excel reporting capabilities required.
- Programming: Proficiency with SQL is required.
- Desirable: Experience with statistical software.
- Business knowledge: Strong understanding of standard accounting principles and financial data trends.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, heavy phone and email collaboration with internal stakeholders, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
