Job Description

The BHMG Data Analyst supports the Access Team by delivering accurate, actionable data and reporting to enable informed business decisions.

Location: Kentucky (remote)

Responsibilities

  • Collect, merge, and validate data from diverse internal and external sources.
  • Examine complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build, update, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools.
  • Assemble reporting packages and provide ongoing performance reporting to leadership.
  • Automate data collection, reporting, and analytic workflows to boost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Generate ad hoc analyses and reports to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Assess and optimize data storage, extraction, and processing methodologies.
  • Support analytics related to scheduling, registration, productivity, provider performance, and other healthcare operational metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of job-related analytical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and data visualization methodologies.
  • Experience working with data models, data mining, and data collection systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Solid mathematical, statistical, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Familiarity with statistical and analytics tools such as Minitab, SAS, SPSS, or QlikView.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience working with healthcare datasets, including EPIC data, Press Ganey data, or Premier databases.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Experience presenting data insights to executive and physician leadership audiences.
