Data Analyst
Job Description
LegalEASE is seeking a Data Analyst to build and maintain data infrastructure and reporting solutions in a hybrid setup in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to surface key trends, patterns, and business improvement opportunities
- Participate in daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies
- Develop data pipelines and analytics that create business value, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align insights with organizational goals
- Maintain data integrity, accuracy, quality, and uptime through best practices in data handling, validation, and query risk prevention (including avoiding overages and errors)
- Create and maintain clear, accurate, and impactful reports and visualizations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Run routine data audits and cleanup activities
- Test and develop internal tools; optimize semantic models to support data querying and scalability
- Identify improvement areas through data analysis and contribute to strategic initiatives and business growth
- Own delivery of assigned work increments as determined by your manager
- Stay current on best practices for the technologies needed for the role
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role
- Strong proficiency in Python for data extraction and transformation
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Python, Spark notebooks, Copilot Studio, Git, and APIs
- Experience with Data Lakes and large datasets; experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI; experience with analytics platforms
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel, SQL (MySQL), or other data manipulation tools
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Ability to interpret and present complex data in clear, actionable ways
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
