Job Description

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst to support a Department of War client in Huntsville, AL. The position focuses on delivering data solutions, including pipeline development and visualization work, while maintaining data integrity and security.

Role Overview

In this onsite role, you will provide data solutions to the client, covering areas such as data analysis, data engineering, and data science. You will also contribute to the creation of data pipelines and visualizations using established analytics tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver data solutions, including analysis, data engineering, and data science activities for a Department of War client
  • Complete technical work such as building data pipelines and developing visualizations
  • Use tools and technologies including Python, SQL, and data visualization platforms such as Power BI
  • Maintain data integrity and data security by applying best practices in data management
  • Stay current with the latest trends in data analytics

Required Qualifications

  • Active and maintained SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst, or data engineer

Technologies

Relevant technologies for the role include Python, SQL, Power BI, R, and Palantir Foundry.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective team-based work
  • Experience with the design and build of ETL programs, interfaces, and conciliation processes for data

Travel Requirements

Travel is required up to 10%.
