Data Analyst

Pacific Federal Management (PFM) is hiring a Data Analyst in Hagåtña, GU (onsite) to design, build, and maintain end-to-end data solutions that support continuous improvement across the organization. This role combines hands-on data engineering with analysis and reporting, so you can help stakeholders make faster, clearer decisions through reliable data and well-designed dashboards.

What you’ll do

• Research, develop, and construct data management systems that support organizational needs.
• Build end-to-end workflows for data ingestion, processing, storage, access, and reporting.
• Run periodic data audits and system assessments, monitoring performance and user feedback to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and automation opportunities.
• Prepare reports and submit recommendations for future courses of action, system development, and program improvements.
• Share analytical findings with executive-ready outputs including executive summaries, charts, tables, and graphs.
• Collaborate with department stakeholders to gather requirements and tailor data handling systems that align departmental needs with company objectives.
• Streamline data collection methods, analyze collected data, and create dashboards to make information accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain data governance policies, metadata standards, and documentation of processes.
• Support data security and confidentiality through access controls and anonymization workflows for sensitive datasets.
• Design and use relational database structures to integrate data across multiple systems and departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, JavaScript, and HTML; Python experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including VBA or Google Apps Scripts for automation.
• Familiarity with database management concepts including relational databases, normalization, indexing, and partitioning.
• Practical experience with process mapping and workflow modeling techniques.
• Experience creating dashboards (Looker Studio or Power BI) is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to all stakeholder levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated approach with eagerness to learn new technologies and tools.
