Job Description
Titan is hiring a Data Analyst in New York, NY (onsite) to turn raw data into actionable insights through analytics systems, pipelines, models, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain ETL workflows to move and transform data across multiple systems for business intelligence dashboards.
- Use Redshift to model, structure, and optimize data for reporting and analytics.
- Integrate and transform NoSQL data into analytics-ready formats and ensure smooth operation with other data platforms.
- Build, automate, and monitor data pipelines using tools including Fivetran, Hightouch, Segment, and Stitch.
- Partner with business teams such as Finance, Product, and Operations to translate data needs into analytical solutions.
- Support financial reporting and analytics by applying accounting and finance-related concepts.
- Create and maintain dashboards in Omni, Mode, and Mixpanel to keep teams informed with accurate, timely KPI visibility.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure data consistency, documentation, and governance across systems.
- Contribute to a data-driven organizational culture by advocating for and helping develop it.
Requirements
- Experience coming from a startup, fintech, or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong SQL skills, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning in Redshift.
- Proven experience building and maintaining ETL workflows that connect multiple data sources while preserving data integrity.
- Comfort working with NoSQL data and integrating it into analytics pipelines.
- Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem and best practices for data storage, transformation, and access.
- Scripting experience, including Python and/or SQL scripts, plus familiarity with Git for version control.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to identify business opportunities and deliver measurable impact.
- Experience analyzing and visualizing finance and accounting data is preferred.
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills to make complex analysis clear and actionable.
