Data Analyst 3

Join Primerica in a hybrid Data Analyst role based in Duluth, GA 30099 (2 days on site, 3 days remote). You will turn business process knowledge and transaction data into reporting, dashboards, and analytics that help teams make operational decisions. The role also includes opportunities to collaborate across departments, support data initiatives, and help guide less experienced analysts.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned data-related initiatives, including gathering requirements, analyzing needs, and presenting findings clearly.
• Write advanced queries drawing from multiple tables and systems, including calculations and subqueries, using tools such as SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, R, Python, or other available tooling.
• Research issues across multiple platforms to determine root cause and identify solutions to resolve problems.
• Build and maintain analytical reports, charts, presentations, dashboards, and timelines for ongoing and ad hoc use.
• Create complex Power BI visuals and dashboards for management and other departments, including ongoing reporting needs.
• Apply modeling software to support predictive analytics aligned with department objectives.
• Analyze data for trends and meaningful, clear observations, including identifying discrepancies across data sets and data lakes.
• Ensure data quality through accurate and timely processing, and maintain review of files, tables, and reports for inconsistencies.
• Perform detailed analysis on results and summarize findings for stakeholders.
• Present data with recommendations to department leadership to support operational decisions, process improvement, and policy development for change initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain statistical reports on daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc schedules for all levels of management.
• Support process efficiency improvements, including using automation tools.
• Assist in the design and structure of data lakes and other data tools, including defining data needs.
• Use existing and new data to better meet Home Office, field, and client needs.
• Assist in building POCs, including providing logic and working with IT to build necessary APIs.
• Mentor and guide teammates by answering questions, offering direction, and training less experienced analysts.
• Maintain awareness of risk within the functional area, follow policies and procedures, and report known or suspected violations to appropriate Company authority in a timely manner.
• Interface with multiple teams, departments, and third parties; lead meetings to gather requirements and drive resolution.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Business, Data Analysis, Data Science, or related field preferred).
• 3+ years of Data Analyst experience (3-5 years preferred).
• Database management software experience (WinSQL, WebQMF, dbeaver, or equivalent).
• MS Office experience including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Confluence and SQL and database experience.
• Power BI experience.
• In-depth knowledge of data gathering techniques.
• Ability to combine data, perform complex analysis, and present findings logically and meaningfully.
• Works independently with minimal guidance.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and charts, plus ability to construct complex formulas.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: USD 95,000 - 120,000 per year. FLSA status: Exempt (not eligible for overtime pay).
