Data Analyst Asc - Level 1
Job Description
The Data Analyst Asc - Level 1 will conduct data collection, processing, and analysis in support of F-35 Sustainment, generating insights and dashboards while emphasizing modeling, cost-to-performance, data quality, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in shaping problem statements, modeling approaches, and the ground rules and assumptions (GR&A) used in analyses.
- Under the guidance of a technical lead, perform analyses to establish a total cost to performance view for Sustainment.
- Examine fielded performance to develop solutions for forecasting, root-cause analysis, evaluating potential options, and assessing corrective actions.
- Mine, process, and summarize data to meet stakeholder needs.
- Ensure data quality through data scraping QA, query databases for stakeholder requests, and triage data issues to deliver timely resolutions.
- Analyze large datasets, derive valid inferences, and present findings through narrative or visual formats, including dashboards.
- Assist in automating supplier data report deliverables and improving team processes.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, as required for this role.
- Experience with scripting in one or more common languages (such as Python or R), descriptive and inferential statistics, data munging, and/or data visualization.
- Analytical skills with an understanding of system databases, data elements, and/or application software solutions to optimize data gathering and analysis.
- Experience with automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and/or machine learning (ML).

Remote Work

Work Schedules
Lockheed Martin offers a range of alternate schedules to accommodate flexibility. Schedules may include standard 40 hours over five days or condensed options, which provide additional time away from the office while complementing paid time off benefits.
Schedule for This Position
Four 10-hour days with three days off each week.
