Data Analyst - TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
Job Description
LMI is seeking a Data Analyst for a Strategic Workforce Analytics program supporting a U.S. Federal Government Agency in a classified environment. This onsite role in Washington, DC combines hands-on analytics with stakeholder collaboration, delivering data products that help multiple clients make informed decisions.
What you’ll do
- Partner with technical and functional program SMEs and key data stakeholders to understand business processes, analytical requirements, and key data elements, including data protection guidelines.
- Implement pre-specified research or analysis plans and interpret results for internal and customer audiences.
- Design and build approaches to integrate, consolidate, and structure data for analytical use.
- Work with complex, organization-specific datasets, transforming data into decision-ready insights.
- Create visualizations and interactive dashboards using open-source and commercially available visualization tools (including Tableau where applicable).
- Develop briefing packages that clearly communicate complex findings to non-technical customers.
- Provide regular detailed reporting to management and customers, advising on interpretation and appropriate use of analysis products.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams timely and proactively, including for ongoing client deliverables.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics, computer science, economics, human resources, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR business management; familiarity with Government policies and procedures preferred.
- Experience developing dashboards using Tableau or other data visualization tools.
- Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel and/or programming languages including Python or R.
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to work with business customers and technical teams.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Ability to travel to and work on client sites.
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Desire and willingness to gain technical skills in areas such as strategy development, talent management, process mapping, organizational change, workforce planning and analysis, data analysis and visualization, and/or competency management, including interest in relevant industry certifications.
- Management consulting experience desired.
- Experience with tools and methods for project management, data analysis, business analysis, and/or strategic communications and multimedia.
- Ability to apply innovative problem solving.
- Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization.

Compensation
Target salary range: $110,000 to $190,000 per year.
