Responsibilities

• Interpret data and apply statistical methods to generate ongoing business reports
• Design and maintain databases and data collection processes; develop analytics strategies to improve statistical efficiency and data quality
• Source data from primary and secondary sources and uphold the integrity of data systems
• Identify trends and patterns in complex datasets related to transportation, supply chain, and contract logistics
• Clean and curate data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and fix problems
• Collaborate with management and operational teams to understand priorities and translate them into data requirements
• Build informative data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs based on data-driven insights

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
• Strong knowledge of reporting tools, databases (SQL), and programming is desirable
• Technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Proficiency in statistics and experience with statistical packages (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate substantial amounts of information with high attention to detail
• Adept at writing queries, preparing reports, and presenting findings clearly
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics preferred
• Previous experience in logistics or transportation is advantageous
